ACTIVITIES The
Department takes part in a range of activities. The Department
undertakes consultancy and other forms of collaboration with various
organisations. A number of sponsored research projects have been
complents and others are ongoing as part of the Department's continuing
industry-oriented project efforts.
The
Department organizes workshops, seminars and symposia in various
specialties with participants form all over the country, and runs
summer/winter schools for the benefit of engineering college
teachers and professional engineers.
Faculty
members deliver expert / specialized lectures in other institution
and universities / industry. On the other hand experts form
industries are invited to deliver technical lecture on latest trends
in the Electrical Engineering / Technology.
The
students are encouraged to participate in co and extra curricular
activities organized by the students. For the students there is
society named ELECTRORECK which organizes technical events.
POWERFEST is annual technical event organized by the students
society.
