Business Session |
| 1 | To confirm the minutes of the last General Body Meeting. |
| 2 | Presidential Address. |
| 3 | To discontinue the practice of awarding “Best All rounder” Gold Medal by NITK Alumni. |
| 4 | To simplify the procedure of awarding Alumni Scholarship to need-based scholarship. |
| 5 | To consider instituting an award of the level of Distinguished Alumnus/ Life Time Achievement Award. |
| 6 | To present the audited report for the financial year 2004-05. |
| 7 | To appoint the auditors for the year 2005-06. |
| 8 | To request the institute administration for a suitable and larger office space. |
| 9 | To request the institute administration for hike in one-time alumni subscription fees charged from students at the time of their admission. |
| 10 | To present the budget for the year 2005-06. |
| 11 | Any other item with the permission of chair. |

Honoring Session |
| 1 | To honor the faculty member who has retired from the institute. |
| 2 | To honor the Alumni of 1979 batch (based on year of entry). |
| 3 | To honor the Alumni of 1980 batch. |
MINUTES OF THE ANNUAL GENERAL BODY MEETING HELD ON APRIL 11, 2004
| 1 | Minutes of last AGM held on October 20th, 2002 were confirmed. |
| 2 | Audited reports of the accounts of the Association for the financial year ending March 31, 2004 was placed before the General Body and approved. |
| 3 | The house approved the continuation of M/s Rakesh Dhall & Associates as Auditors for the financial year 2004-05 at the same charges of Rs. 600/- per annum. |
| 4 | Election for the office bearers of the Association were conducted and the following were elected: |

During the Honoring Session Prof. I. J. S. Lamba was honored after having superannuation from the institute during the last year. |

(i) It was proposed to evolve a standard procedure for conducting
the elections of the office bearers. A model procedure was also
suggested by the Director.
(ii) It was suggested to put more effort in up keeping the directory of the Association. |

The meeting ended with a vote of thanks to the chair, the Director and the members and their families. |
