Estate Section is involved in the maintenance and construction of civil works in the Institute. Presently, there are 42 regular supporting staff in this Section. The Section is headed by Dean (Estate, Construction & Elect. Mtc.) and the total maintenance budget of the Institute is about Rs.32.00 lacs. The civil works completed by PWD & NBCC during the last five years include construction of PG Hostel, Examination Hall, Extension block of Library Building and Guest House, Shopping Complex-cum-Bank & Post Office, Lecture Theatres, Computer Engg. Block, Renovation of Jubilee Hall, Senate Hall, New Girls Hostel, New Equipment Shop at Workshop etc. The Road Map for next 25 years of the Estate Section has been prepared in view of the future expansion of the Institute.
