Aims & Objective

To start M. Tech. Course in Computational Techniques and Modelling.
To organize conferences and seminars in emerging area of Science & Technology.
To lay thrust on research activities in vigor manner by way of fetching research projects from various funding agencies.

Paper entitled, “Reliability and availability of a three unit stand by system with two types each of failure and repair”, presented in National Conference on ‘Applications of Mathematics in Engineering & Technology’ MIMIT, Malout (Punjab) on 26-28th March, 2005 by Dr. D.V. Singh.

Paper entitled, “Cyclic Self Dual Codes” published in Proc. of National Seminar on ‘Applications of Mathematics in Science & Technology’, Jabalpur 2004 pp.1-10 by Dr. Jai Singh.

Paper entitled, “Numerical analysis of reliability and availability of the serial processes in butter-oil processing plant”, published in International Journal of Quality and Reliability, 22(3), pp. 303-316, 2005 by Dr. Jai Singh.

Undergraduate & Postgraduate Courses

The department offers courses in Mathematics to both the Undergraduate and Postgraduate students of the Institute.

The aim is to equip the engineering students with modern concepts of Mathematics and Mechanics as applied in different engineering disciplines.
